Project pricing intelligence
You know your day rate. You don't know what you earn.
Trueday counts every day a project actually took — the prep, the revisions, the travel, the chasing — and tells you what the work really paid. Then it tells you how to structure the next quote so it pays more.
Six questions, about ninety seconds. Nothing to install.
A real year, recounted
Quoted, then earned. 322 days worked, 152 billed.
01
Recall five projects
Not a timesheet — sliders and memory. Ten minutes gets you a number that is robust to being twenty per cent wrong.
02
Two minutes on a Friday
Where the week went, across your live projects. One tap when a client comes back with notes. That is the entire ongoing commitment.
03
Quote from your own history
Your next quote pre-fills from what your projects actually took, warns you where the estimate contradicts it, and shows the implied day rate as you type.
Don't raise their rate. Restructure the scope.
Telling you to charge more is advice you already have and won't take. Capping revisions at two defined rounds, billing pre-production as a line, and charging travel at half rate gets you a comparable margin — and none of it costs you the client.
Every recommendation comes with the paragraphs to paste into your proposal, including the round-boundary clause that makes a revision cap actually hold.
Revisions
The fee includes two rounds of revisions on the edit. Further rounds are charged at £225 per half day.
A revision round means one consolidated set of notes from your side. Notes arriving separately after a round has begun will be treated as the next round.
That second paragraph is the one that matters. Undefined round boundaries are the most common way caps fail.
Not a
time tracker
No timers, no start and stop, no daily entries. Half-day granularity on a Friday is enough to find a fifty per cent gap.
Not a
invoicing tool
You already have one. Trueday produces the numbers and the wording; you send the quote however you send it now.
Not a
CRM
No pipeline stages, no client portal, no proposal templates or e-signatures. That is a different product and a worse one.
Not a
benchmark
You are measured against your own history, not an industry average we do not have and would not trust.
Find out what last year actually paid you.
